Finding the Rythm of God's Heart

Lately it feels like I am in a search to find the rythm of God's heart. For so long I thought I was hearing this rythm, but I am beginning to hear a clearer rythm than before. It is the rythm of God's grace  and mercy beating for a dying world. However, it  is not a rythm that is burdensome, but one that is full of life and hope in Jesus. I can hear the beating of  drums being played with passion . That is what I am hearing right now in my walk with the Lord, and that rythm is setting me free to be the person he has called me to be; a passionate child longing for his Father's heart.

Well, it has been about a century since I've last posted. It is around 10:30pm and I am still pretty much wide awake so I decided I would post. For about the past month I have been very busy with the new teaching thing. I actually have quiet enjoyed it. It has been a thing that has really kindled my passion more for learning and sharing the amazing things about God and His Word. I've been challenged by students in more ways than one, but overall I have been pleased. I have many great students.

Crystal and I have also been busy helping to plan a missions trip to Ecuador over this coming Spring Break. We look forward to being a part of that, and a couple of other trips that could also be taking place during the summer. I am so thankful that God gave me a job where I could go on all these missions trips. It is going to be a blast as we get the amazing privelege of sharing his kindness and goodness with a world that needs it so desperately. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing fine.

I'm a very excited! There are so many good things going on in my life it is hard to contain! First of all, nothing is ever boring with Jesus. There is a song by Jason Upton that says, "It's always new with you Jesus." That is the way I feel right now in my spirit. It is never boring with the Lord. There are always new revelations and new perspectives. He is amazing!

Secondly, I am going to start my teaching career, as long as it may last, in a couple of weeks. I have made new a couple of new friends; David and Chris since I had a teaching conference these past 3 weeks. They are a lot of fun, and very intelligent.

I just feel in my soul something that I can't contain. God is up to something really neat, and what a privelege to be able to serve along side Him. That's it for now I guess. C'ya.

Writing

Hello everyone! I have been in the middle of a three week conference on writing. Holy cow! I didn't know there were so many different ways to think of something to write. It has been crazy to say the least. I am starting my teaching position in just a couple of weeks, and I am really looking forward to it. God is so good to me. What else can a person say. I hope you are all doing well, and I will talk to you all as soon as I can.

God is so good to us even when we don't really know about it. My last entry was about the rent house situation and how it did not work out. Well, within the next couple of days, we found out that Crystal did not have a job anymore. There would have been no way that we could have afforded the house that we were wanting to rent. Thank you Jesus!

There is also something very exciting that is happening in my life. We just got back from a missions trip to Mexico, and when we got back the leader of the trip said he wanted to talk to me. Crystal and I went over to his house, and he said, in short, that he wanted me to teach me how to lead other teams on missions trips. I am so excited about it, and thank God that he fulfills the very purposes he has put inside of his children.

True life is getting to live out the dreams that God has already dreamt for you. Thank you Jesus for being such a good God. May your kingdom come!
